Maine Woman Charged With Manslaughter In Daughter’s Death
According to a press release from the Maine State Police, a 28 year old Maine woman has been charged in connection with the death of her 3 year old daughter.
Hillary Goding was arrested yesterday (Sunday, June 6th) and charged with manslaughter in the death of her daughter.
Details are still coming in, but it does appear that the child was found unresponsive on Friday evening and was pronounced dead early Sunday morning.
The press release explained:
On Friday, June 4, 2021, Old Town Fire and Rescue responded to 149 Center Street at approximately 10:48 pm after Goding called 911 to report that her daughter was unresponsive and not breathing. The child was transported to Eastern Maine Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
An autopsy was done on the child on Sunday, but the results have yet to be released.
Goding is expected to appear in court at 1 PM on Monday, June 7th, 2021.
