We Asked Mainers for Their Favorite Thrift Stores and Antique Shops — These 25 Got the Most Love
There’s something about walking into a thrift store or antique shop with absolutely no idea what you’re going to find.

You might leave with nothing. Or you might somehow leave with an old lamp, three vintage mugs and something you definitely did not need but couldn’t leave behind.
That’s the fun of it, right?
And luckily for us, Maine has plenty of places to go treasure hunting.
What Are the Best Thrift Stores and Antique Shops in Maine?
We decided to ask the experts: Mainers.
We asked followers on both the 92 Moose and Q97.9 Facebook pages where their favorite thrift store or antique shop in Maine is, and you guys gave us A LOT of places to check out.
Seriously, my shopping list just got a lot longer.
We saw everything from huge antique malls to little thrift stores, consignment shops and places people apparently spend hours wandering around.
There were also plenty of places that got some love but didn't quite make our final list, including Cornish Trading Co., Old Creamery in Ellsworth, Estilos in Brunswick, Winterport Marketplace and Arundel Antique Village Group.
And then there was the person who basically refused to tell us their favorite because if everyone knows about it, there go the bargains.
Honestly, I get it.
These Maine Shops Came Up Again and Again
Once we combined the responses from both Facebook pages, some places definitely started separating themselves from the pack.
A few were neck and neck, while others missed the list by just a couple of mentions.
So, whether you’re looking for vintage clothes, antiques, furniture, home decor or just like digging around to see what you can find, here are 25 Maine thrift stores and antique shops our listeners recommended the most.
