Massive ‘Fireball’ Spotted over Maine [VIDEO]

The American Meteor Society, since early this morning (May 17) has received over 200 reports about a fireball being spotted over the Northeast around 12:50 am.

Their website says most reports are from Maine but it was also witnessed in other New England states as well as New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Canada.

In this video the Portland Police Department caught a meteor passing through the sky. It's quick, so watch closely.
