Comedian Matt Rife Visits Portland Pie in Bangor, Maine
Matt Rife Makes a Bangor Pizza Stop
Comedian Matt Rife made the most of his time in Bangor last weekend, taking in some local sights before hitting the stage for his sold out show at the Maine Savings Amphitheater.
One stop included Portland Pie Company’s Bangor location, where Rife dropped in before the show. The restaurant shared the surprise visit on Facebook, giving local fans another reason to be excited about having one of comedy’s biggest names in town.
It’s not every day a nationally known comedian walks through the door for a bite to eat, especially just hours before taking the stage in front of a packed Bangor crowd.
Rife’s appearance was part of his Stay Golden Tour, which has brought the comedian to venues across the country, and luckily Maine was on that list.
“When in Maine”
Pizza wasn’t Rife’s only Bangor experience. The comedian also paid a visit to Stephen King’s famous Bangor home, sharing a photo from outside the property on his Instagram Story with the caption “When in Maine.” The visit was especially fitting for Rife, who has an interest in horror and the paranormal.
From grabbing some local pizza to checking out one of Bangor’s most recognizable landmarks before entertaining thousands of fans, Rife wanted a taste of the Maine experience, and Bangor delivered.
