Matt’s Book Club: Tears of The Silenced

Okay, so I don't actually have a book club, but I DO have a recommendation for you if you're looking for an incredible read. The memoir is called 'Tears of The Silenced' and it was written by former Amish church member Misty Griffin, though while in the Amish community she was known as Emma Shrock.

I won't give away too much, but the memoir covers decades of physical and sexual abuse from parents to church members. Eventually it all becomes too much for Misty and she finally devises a plan to escape the horrible life she has been living.
