Moose Jingle Contest Rules
- Entries to be considered for the Moose Morning Show Jingle Contest (“the contest”) must be completely original entries written and performed by the entrant. No entry will be accepted that utilizes any material (including, but not limited to lyrics and music) that has been copyrighted by anyone other than the entrant. You must include the following in your lyrics: The Moose Morning Show, 92 Moose, Mac Dickson, Renee Nelson, Matt James. Station staff will retain the right to disqualify any entry for use of copyrighted material at any time during the contest period. Videos should be no longer than one minute.
- To enter the contest, entrants must provide a video of themselves performing and singing an original jingle for the Moose Morning Show. Entries will be collected on the station’s contest page at 92moose.fm.The station is not responsible for entries not received by a technical malfunction. All entries received become property of the station, and if the entry is chosen as a finalist, the entry video will be posted to the 92Moose YouTube page.
- All audio and video, become the property of Townsquare Media, which retains the right to air songs and publish songs on our YouTube channel and websites, even after contest period ends.
- Submissions will be taken on the contest page at 92moose.fm from May 8-June 12. Only submissions received through the official contest page will be considered.
- Once entries have closed, station staff will determine the five finalists from all entries received. Station staff will retain the right to reduce or increase the number of finalists at their discretion.
- Once the finalists are chosen, the videos will be posted on the 92Moose YouTube page and the finalists will be invited to come in for an interview with the Moose Morning Show during the week of June 18-22 To be considered a finalist for the contest, entrants must be available to appear on the Moose Morning Show that week, and station staff will make every reasonable effort to ensure that finalists are scheduled at a time that they are available.
- After the Moose Morning Show on June 22, the station will open public voting on 92moose.fm to determine the grand prize winner. Whichever entry gets the most public votes during the public voting period will be named the grand prize winner. Voting will be restricted to one vote per hour, and station staff retains the right to disqualify any entrant if there is evidence of automated voting on their behalf.
- Public voting will run from 10 a.m. (Eastern time) on June 22 through 11:59 pm (Eastern time) on July 12. The winner will be announced on the Moose Morning Show on July 13.
- The Grand Prize is two (2) tickets to see Taylor Swift live in concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts on Saturday, July 28, 2018 (prize value-$350.00). No date substitution will be available for this prize. This portion of the prize consists of only the concert tickets, transportation to and from Massachusetts and overnight accommodations are not included. In addition, the winner will also receive a $100 prepaid Visa card (value $100).
The following rules, and specific contest rules, are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at 56 Western Avenue, Suite 1, Augusta, ME 04330 and at http://92moose.fm.
- Winner must comply with all of the rules of the Contest, including, but not limited to, any restrictions on age and/or residency, and have not committed any fraud or deception in entering the Contest or claiming the Prize.
- The winner must affirm and represent that he/she is not an employee or agent of the Station or any sponsor of the Contest and is not a member of the same household of any such employee or agent.
- In consideration of the receipt of the Prize, the winner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or other fees, including, but not limited to, any federal state or local income taxes, that are or may become payable as a result of participating in the Contest and/or receipt of the Prize.
- The winner agrees to allow the Station and/or its designees the right to use winner’s name, likeness, portrait, recorded voice and/or biographical material for an unlimited period of time in order to advertise, promote or publicize the Station and/or the products and services of any of its designees.
- The Station is not the manufacturer or distributor of the Prize. With respect to any claims that the winner may now have, or that he/she may subsequently acquire as a result of the possession and/or use of the Prize, the winner acknowledges and agrees that he/she shall look solely to others in the chain of production and distribution of the Prize to the exclusion of the Station and any sponsors of the Contest.
- The station makes no warranties of any kind with respect to the prize, including, but not limited to, any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Station hereby expressly disclaims any and all such warranties.
- The winner expressly releases the station, and any sponsors of the contest, and their respective officers, directors, agents, parent companies, subsidiaries and employees, from any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action of any nature or kind whatsoever, whether presently known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that he/she may have, or may subsequently acquire, as a result of participating in the contest and/or receipt of the prize.
- No purchase is necessary to participate in or win 92 Moose contests. Contests are void where prohibited by law.
- Employees of Townsquare Media, Inc., their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, vendors and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible.
- The station is not responsible for telephone system or internet failure, or other inability of entrants to enter due to technical malfunction. This station is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected mail or for printing errors. No mechanically reproduced or completed entries will be accepted.
- Listeners are only eligible to win every 30 days.
- All federal, state and local taxes apply and are the sole responsibility of the winner.
