There weren’t terribly many laughs to be had over the course of USA’s first Mr. Robot season, trading in moody, off-center cyber-noir moreso than gags. Thankfully, you can revisit all those angles in a new light, courtesy of the Mr. Robot gag reel, in which Christian Slater may, or may not fart upwind of Rami Malek.

The full five-minute gag reel surfaced online Monday, ahead of the January 12 home release. Among some of the better bits (all of which confirm to the same lower-third style that visually set Mr. Robot apart), Slater has fun testing some of his co-stars’ responses to dialogue, given one of the bigger twists at the center of the series.

For those unaware, Mr. Robot centers around Elliot Alderson (Malek), a young cybersecurity engineer struggling with social anxiety and clinical depression, who moonlights as a cyber-vigilante hacker. He is recruited by a mysterious anarchist known as “Mr. Robot” (Slater), and joins his “fsociety” group in order to wipe out sinister international conglomerate E[vil] Corp. Already renewed for Season 2, the series also stars Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin, Martin Wallström and House of Cards alum Michel Gill.

In addition snagging honors on both of ScreenCrush’s Best TV of 2015 lists, and emerging as one of the year’s most-pirated series, Mr. Robot was also nominated for three top-tier Golden Globe awards, including series leads Rami Malek and Christian Slater, as well as the overall drama nomination. Prior to that, Malek earned a Screen Actors Guild nomination as well.

Also worth noting, series creator Sam Esmail will direct all ten episodes of the upcoming second season, itself already writing in Los Angeles. In the meantime, watch the gag reel above, and stay tuned for the latest on Season 2.
