The Amazon Prime series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" was a surprise hit that really came out of nowhere.

The first time someone explained to me what the show was about and suggested that I needed to watch it, I laughed.  And laughed... And laughed some more.  Not because the show was hilarious.  Nope, I thought the concept was just plain old dumb.  Then, I stopped being a jerk and actually watched an episode of the show.  I was hooked!  It is such a great show.

For those who don't know, the show follows a housewife living in New York City in the 1950s.  When the series starts, it appears that Miriam Maisel is living the stereotypical, middle-class life.  The kind of life we all saw in reruns of sitcoms from that era.  Her husband, Joel, has a good white collar job, but really wants to be a stand-up comedian.  Without giving too much away, when Miriam and Joel split, in a fit of rage, she decides to give comedy a try...  And is super successful at it.

Earlier this year, just before the fourth season premiered on Prime Video, we got word that the fifth season would be the show's last.

How could would it be to be a part of the show's final season?

Well, according to a listing on Backstage, you can be!

The show is looking for actors and actresses to play background people (extras) for some upcoming prison scenes they'll be shooting.  They are looking for men, women, girls, and boys.

Shooting will take place in the New York area, so you will need to make a road trip.

The deadline for entry is May 4th, so don't wait.
