Last night at the Grammy's, Rihanna and Chris Brown looked happy together. Does that bother you like it bothers me? I know it’s been about three years since the Chris Brown and Rihanna incident, but I still can't let it go. In fact, it's been three years and one day since Chris Brown beat Rihanna in his car over Rihanna asking about a cell phone call.

I remember first hearing of it on the red carpet show on E! from Ryan Seacrest. This was the day of the Grammys back in 2009. The news then was, neither Chris Brown nor Rihanna would be attending the Grammy’s due to something like, unforeseen circumstances. A day later, or that night, we all knew what happened and crucified Chris Brown in the court of public opinion. Many stations pulled his music until further notice. The so-called boycott ended with his release of F.A.M.E.

Yes, I’m getting to a point. Here is what I don’t get. Why is Chris Brown celebrated today? It’s only been three years. Is he a changed man? All I’ve heard is, if he’s done it once, he’ll do it again and again. Whether Rihanna is stupid to go back with him or not remains to be seen, but how can she feel comfortable and secure when she's been scarred by someone who loves her? Who wants to second guess their words or actions in fear of getting hit?

It still sickens me to see camera cuts to Chris Brown at the Grammy’s. It makes me sad to see Rihanna with her head on his shoulder. Chris Brown in a white suit, what was that about? Does he think he is a good guy in a soap? I know no one is perfect but hitting a significant other once is bad enough, but repeatedly is pretty close to unforgivable.

Lastly, I will say I was happy to see Frank Ocean win over Chris Brown in 'The Urban Album' category. You've heard about the fight between Frank Ocean and Chris Brown, right? Karma!
