We're always happy to be able to report the opening of new businesses, especially these days.  It is great to see new life being breathed into some of the recently closed businesses in Central Maine.

It looks like Winthrop will soon have a new dining option.

According to a Facebook post by Coldwell Banker Rizzo Mattson, the old Full Court Deli, on Western Avenue in Winthrop, will soon reopen as Ted's Trackside Grill.

The business was purchased by Melissa and Gabe Caron.  The couple bring with them a lot of restaurant experience.

The post says:

The Caron's bring to their new venture TONS of restaurant experience from their family's origins at the iconic "High Hat Drive-In" in Farmingdale, to running of the former New Mills Market in Gardiner and their most recent successful ownership of KG Curbside Grill food truck.

They plan to serve many of the popular items from their food truck's menu at the new restaurant.  These include their haddock sandwich, burgers, lobster rolls, and hand cut french fries.

While they have not set a specific opening date, they do plan to open this spring.

We wish them the best of luck.
