Yesterday, Olive Garden in Augusta paid tribute to first responders in our area by feeding them lunch.  As they have for the last 15 years, hundreds of Olive Garden restaurants around the country fed law enforcers, fire fighters, and paramedics.

According to WABI-TV, 15 fire fighters at the Augusta Fire Department were treated to a feast that included salad, pasta, breadsticks, and tiramisu.  And, yes, they did let local police officers eat, too.

Olive Garden has been feeding first responders on Labor Day since 2002.  This year, over 800 restaurants nationwide served more than 10,000 meals.
