Olympian Julia Clukey Joined the Moose Morning Show

Augusta native and Olympian Julia Clukey joined us on the Moose Morning Show. Julia has partnered with the Maine Beer & Wine Distributors Association to create a public service announcement for the Labor Day holiday. It's part of the ongoing responsibility initiative by the MBWDA to communicate that alcohol is a unique product that requires regulation and responsibility. Since 2010, Clukey has been a spokesperson for the Maine Beer & Wine Distributors Association as part of their commitment to promote responsibility and good decision making. "While I love winter, I think we can all agree this has been an incredible Maine summer to get outside and enjoy everything that the state has to offer. As the summer winds down and families and friends gather this weekend it's really important that we all continue to be responsible and make good decisions," said Olympian Julia Clukey.

The new Labor Day PSA features Olympian and member of the US National Luge Team, Julia Clukey emphasizing the importance of using a designated driver and keeping Maine safe over the holiday weekend. This year, the PSA also educates listeners about her high school presentations across the state and her website, as a resource where people can connect with Julia, learn about her story and become her fan on Facebook.
