The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash involving a farm truck that happened in Corinth. The authorities were called to the scene on Beans Mill Road on Saturday afternoon, before 4:30 p.m.

Once they arrived, it was discovered that the farm truck had veered off the road and into the woods. They found one male occupant, who was the sole individual in the vehicle, trapped between the side of the truck and a tree.

According to WABI, rescuers attempted to save the driver using advanced measures on the scene, however the man ended up succumbing to his injuries at the scene of the crash.

At this time, the crash is being investigated by the Sheriff's Office. Additionally, the name of the deceased has been withheld by authorities as they work to notify family and next of kin of the death.
