According to the Portland Press Herald, a last minute deal has saved Pabst Blue Ribbon!

In the end, the beer's fate was decided by a jury.  It was the end of a 9 day trial between PBR and Miller Coors - the company that had been brewing PBR since 1999.

Miller Coors had been under contract to brew the beer through 2020, with the option to extend their deal through 2025.  In 2016, Miller Coors said they would not be willing to extend the deal to 2025.  The reason they cited was not having the capacity to continue brewing the beer.  According to PBR, this was false.

But, the companies have reached a settlement that will keep the suds flowing!
