Real Or Fake Christmas Tree?

Are you a real Christmas tree person or an artificial tree user? We always went with real until last year. Both have their own positives and negatives. We went to a fake tree more or less so we could put it up earlier and the cost saving over time. Another upside, there is virtually nothing to vacuum with a fake tree. The down side to fake is use you have to put away nicely and is a bit of work to put together. Another downside, there is no smell. We bought pine scented sticks, but they’re not quite the same as the aroma a real tree. One school of thought about a fake tree if used over and over for years is it’s better on the environment but marginally if that’s even true. Christmas trees are grown specifically for the purpose of cutting after just a few years for homes to enjoy. We may go back to real in the years to come. Just for now our artificial tree is in the picture window looking perfect.
