The Maize at Sherman Farm has been delighting New England families for over a decade.  This maze, set on a 12 acre corn field, was professionally designed, so it is challenging.  Fortunately, there are three phases to the maze - one for every ability level.  And, answering the "Cornundrums" (riddles and trivia questions) will help lead you in the right direction.

In addition to the maze itself, there are a ton of things to do in the courtyard.  You could basically spend the entire afternoon at the maze.  There's a petting zoo, corn boxes (like sandboxes, but filled with corn), hay rides, moo express, Barnyard Bing-oh, Pumpkin Pad (basically a big bounce pillow), and concessions.  One of the things you have to try there are the apple cider donuts.  So good!

Before you head home, make sure you stop by the Sherman Farm stand.  Fresh meat, vegetables, and these great flavored milks (chocolate, strawberry, AND blueberry).

Find Sherman Farm in Center Conway (NH), right on the Fryeburg, Maine border.

This year, the maze will be open weekends from September 21st through October 27th.

Several years ago, they hosted a "punkin chunkin" competition.
