The New Owners Of Saddleback Want To Turn The Mountain Into A Four Season Resort
After being closed for two seasons, Saddleback Mountain has new owners, and they plan to turn the mountain into a four season resort.
Exciting news for the Rangely area! According to WMTW, Saddleback Mountain has been purchased by Australia's Majella Group.
The sale includes the base lodge, lifts, resort, and 6,300 acres of forest. It is expected to be finalized later this summer.
Majella hopes to turn it into a four season resort - attracting skiers and non-skiers to Western Maine.
The CEO of the Majella Group said they fell in love with the beauty of Maine and hospitality of community.
