Where were you during Saturday's post-tropical storm, Lee? I just happened to be up in 'The County' for a wedding that I was part of in Mars Hill, just outside of Presque Isle.

From what I understand from people that were down here during the thick of it, Central Maine got some wind, but didn't really get all that much rain. Well, I can tell you from experience that it was both rainy and windy up in Northern Maine. As a matter of fact, it was so windy and rainy that it was literally raining sideways- Yeah, that's always fun when that happens.

While I was up in Aroostook County on Saturday, there was an incident that happened that's almost unbelievable until you see the photos. Have you ever seen any of the Final Destination movies? Yeah, me too. They're the kind of movies that make you terrified of normal everyday life.

According to the Maine State Police, the situation that unfolded in Moro Plantation (yes, that's a real town in Maine), was literally a page out of Final Destination- err, a clip out of Final Destination.

A man was driving along on Saturday, minding his own mf business when all of a sudden a massive friggin' tree blew down out of the woods and came crashing through his windshield.

Are you ready for the kicker? There were six, yes SIX, people inside the van at the time and somehow someway the tree managed to miss hitting ALL OF THEM. That's right, there were no injuries reported... at all. Unless of course you count the windshield, that was significantly injured. Oh, and the tree, too. RIP.
