Shamrock Shakes Are Back

It's hard to believe, but 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of the seasonal minty treat.

According to WMTW, for the first time in several years, Shamrock Shakes are being sold nationwide.

Additionally, in honor of the shake's 50th anniversary, McDonald's is also doing a Shamrock McFlurry. The McFlurry features minty ice cream and ground Oreo cookies.

It's not the first time McD's has stepped-up their Shamrock game. In 1980, they offered a Shamrock sundae, and in 2017, they sold a chocolate version of the Shamrock Shake.
