Massive Maine Camper & RV Show Returns to Augusta This Weekend!
It's time to stop lamenting about the cold weather and start thinking spring at the annual Augusta Camper and RV Show hosted by none other than the awesome team at Scott's Recreation.
Sidebar: You might be wondering why you would want to pay $10 to go to a show and browse campers when you can just walk the lots of Scott's Recreation for free any other time of the year.
Well, speaking from recent experience, that nominal $10 entry fee is absolutely nothing compared to the amount of money you will save if you purchase a camper at the show.
As a matter of fact, I'm pretty convinced that they actually just lose a ton of money on this event. I've even seen units at this show marked down by more than $40,000 bucks. Like what?!
If you're new to camping, or just looking for a new rig to do it in, the Augusta Camper and RV Show should NOT be missed. Get a sitter and make a day-date out of it. It's always so much fun to 'oooh' and 'ahhhh' at all the new models and features.
With more than 70 units on display, this show promises to have something for everyone. Whether you're looking for something small for you and your partner to weekend around in, or you're looking for a massive 40-footer that fits the whole family and the dogs, you're sure to find it at this year's show.
The show is Friday-Sunday, March 15-17. General admission is $10, kids 12 and under get in free, and all senior citizens 65+ and military personnel with a valid military ID get in for half price.
- Friday, March 15th: 12 noon - 6 pm
- Saturday, March 16th: 9 am - 6 pm
- Sunday, March 17th: 9 am - 3 pm
