This is the 31st annual Sold on Kids Auction on Thursday, September 21.

It's Sweetser's largest fundraising event of the year, and is a super fun evening that raises awareness and much-needed funds for mental health services across Maine. For the second year in a row, the auction is held in the rustic setting at River Winds Farm & Estate in Saco.

More than 250 community and business leaders take part in a one-of-a-kind silent and live auction to help provide more services for more people. Lee Goldberg is hosting again, as he has for years. This is a passion project for Lee, and he is happy to help an organization that provides much-needed services throughout Maine.

What can I expect at the Sweetser Sold on Kids Auction?

Expect to be surprised at all that is offered, ,including tables and tables of silent auction items that you can bid on virtually! When you buy a ticket, know that you are already helping, but they make sure that you have a fun night! There is a full bar (helps with the live auction..hehe), heavy delicious hors d'oeuvres, and desserts! Your ticket also includes two complimentary drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol). Plus, it's an event with so many great people!

What impact does the money raised have?

This is an incredibly important fundraiser so that Sweeters can continue to provide mental health services to over 15,000 Maine children, families, and adults every year. The money raised also supports mobile crisis interventions provided whenever and wherever needed. Plus you will be helping an additional 26,000+ Mainers receive peer-to-peer support through Sweetser’s Intentional Warm Line. But most importantly, you will help Sweetser get necessary mental health services regardless of someone’s ability to pay.

How do I get tickets or support the Sold on Kids Auction?

Great question! You can get tickets here, and if you are unable to make it but would like to support the great work that Sweetser does, you can donate. But hopefully, you will be at this incredible event.
