The unemployment rate in Maine is at 4percent, compared to the national 4.9 percent rate. While jobs have been lost in many paper mills, there are plenty of jobs out there. Let's take a look at the eight largest employers in Maine.

Times are good for L.L. Bean. In the next five years they plan to open about 75 new stores or triple the number of retail locations.

Sad news on the economic front from Bangor as L.L. Bean will be closing their call center in the Queen City. The call center is set to close in 2016.
