Back to work today, the hardest part about coming back to work is getting caught up, reoriented and back in gear. Off the top I want to thank Matt James, Mac Dickson, Andy and whoever else picked my detail while I was away.
It's always fun watching the talented kids sing and perform at the school chorus and band concerts. Last night (May 21) my daughter Alexis and other children from the Monmouth Middle School had their annual Spring Concert. One of the song's featured was 'Let it Go' from Disney's 'Frozen!'
This Saturday at Park Avenue Elementary in Auburn, it’s their annual May Fair. It is what it sounds like, a school fair in May. There will be all kinds of games, food and fun for the kids and parents alike. There is also a silent auction with some really cool items to bid on and hopefully win.
A group of young thespians joined us in the Moose studios on Tuesday and told us about a production they're involved in, Ella Enchanted. It goes up Thursday through Saturday (5/15-17) at the Gardiner High School Little Theater beginning at 7pm. We spoke with some of the cast and crew. Listen!

The Olivet Eagles, a middle school football team from Michigan, took a teammate under their wing and executed what may be the most successful play ever. The football team worked up a plan to give Keith Orr a chance to score his first touchdown and they did it without letting their coaches know.
