Greene, Village in Maine is a cozy community filled with lovely people who are now very excited to be welcoming a sweet new addition to their already charming town!

According to the Sun Journal, the The Greene Village Bakery has opened its doors at 19 Patten Road.

It’s right near the Post Office, and crowds of people were eager to try their goodies!

I have an assumption that this spot will become a hub for the community to gather.

Rachel Bushey is the owner and according to the article she is dedicated to providing delicious baked good for the people of Greene and beyond.

Folks got to sample her freshly baked treats, recently. Rachel begins her day at the bakery at 4:00 am and bakes straight from the heart.

 What does the Greene Village Bakery offer?

Rachel offers doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches, Italians, lasagna, chili, burgers, quiche, salads and more. So, this is way more than just a bakery. And ever since Hurricanes on route 202 closed, the folks of Greene have been waiting patiently for another restaurant to open and gather at.  

Rachel said, “I do everything from scratch,” according to the article.

Cooking and baking from scratch comes straight from your memory and especially your heart, which makes every bite to customers feel like they are home.
