Three People Arrested & Charged in Augusta, Maine Drug Raid
According to a press release from Augusta, Maine Police Department's Deputy Chief, Kevin Lully, at least three people have been taken into custody following a Thursday drug raid in Maine's capital city.
Lully explains in the release that the raid happened on Thursday afternoon just after 1 pm. That's when officers from the Augusta Police Department as well as the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant on Blair Road in Augusta.
During that search, officers were able to seize an undisclosed amount of money, drugs and firearms.
The search also led to the arrest of the suspects including Lisa Chapman, 43 of Augusta, who was booked on charges of falsifying evidence, refusing to submit to arrest, aggravated trafficking and theft by receiving stolen property.
Also arrested was Shawn Lord, 42 of Gardiner. Lord was charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, aggravated trafficking, falsifying evidence, theft by receiving stolen property and refusing to submit to arrest.
Lastly, Aaron Dawn, 32 of Manhattan, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, falsifying evidence, aggravated trafficking and refusing to submit to arrest.
According to Deputy Chief, Lully, Chapman is being held on $50,000 bail, Dawson is being held on $50,000 bail and Lord was being help on $10,000 bail.
