Multiple Arrests Made After Drug Bust Tuesday in Augusta, Maine
According to a press release from the Augusta, Maine Police Department, multiple suspects have been taken into custody following the execution of a search warrant on Summer Street in Augusta.
The release goes on to say that on Tuesday morning just before noontime, the Augusta Police along with assistance from the Kennebec County Sheriff's Office and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency executed the search warrant at 17 Summer Street, apartment 1.
During the search, officials discovered firearms, money, contraband and an undisclosed amount of drugs. Police then took two male suspects into custody and charged each man with unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs.
Zachary Magee, 31 of Winthrop, was arrested and charged. He's currently being held a Kennebec County Jail in lieu of $5,500 cash bail.
27-year-old, Samuel Barrows of Augusta, was also taken into custody on the same charges. He too is being held on $5,500 cash bail at the Kennebec County Jail.
