Today, June 1, is ‘National Go Barefoot Day’

Today, June ^1, is ‘National Go Barefoot Day’. I can’t say I walk around work barefoot, but on occasion I do walk around the office in socks.

I do however very frequently walk around the house barefoot. I’ll even check the mail and take out the trash without shoes or socks.

Don't tell my mother, but on occasion going to or coming home from the beach, I will drive barefoot as it's safer than driving with flip-flops

One place I will never go barefoot ever again is at a community shower, like at a pool, gym or campground. When I was a kid maybe seven or eight years old, I did that and for doing so ended up with plantar warts. Having them surgically removed was one of the most painful experiences ever.
