United Airlines Passenger Forcibly Removed from an Overbooked Flight
You might have heard about the recent incident where a man was dragged off of an overbooked United Airlines flight.
Sunday (April 9) United at first asked if 4 people would volunteer to give up their seat for $400, a free night in a hotel, and a tickets to another flight the next day.
Why were they asking? Well, the plane required the seats for flight crew members, who were needed in Louisville in order to arrive in time for their next flights.
No passenger took them up on the offer, so they doubled the cash to $800. Still no one accepted. That's when the real trouble started.
The man in the video above, said he was a doctor and had patients to see, so he was unwilling to give up his seat.
