Wal*Mart is nothing if not innovative. According to an article, the chain may try something quite radical that will better enable it to compete with Amazon....

This new marketing phenomenon is sometimes called 'crowd sourcing' or 'sharing the economy.'

In a nutshell, Wal*Mart customers would be given a discount or stipend to deliver goods from the stores to the homes of customers who ordered them. Kind of a paid favor as in, "could you drop this off to Mr. Smith on your way home...here's a coupon for your trouble."

Interesting, to be sure. So don't be surprised if you order something from Wally World online and it gets delivered by a toothless fat guy who's driving a 79 Vega and has an inch of butt crack showing. He's your friendly Wal*Mart Customer Delivery Guy.
