Using Google to see what words people across the country have to use Google's spell-check for, Vox.com has come up with the most hard-to-spell words, by state. It's purposely timed with the national spelling bee.

What do you think Maine's is? Here are some clues for you using the process of elimination method.

It's not Hannukkah, which has different, correct, spellings. That is the one for New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, however.

Hors d'oeuvres? Nope. Oklahoma has that distinction.

Beautiful! That's it, right? Nope. For Texas it is.

Here's a tough one: Vacuum. Not for Maine, though. That honor goes to Washington.

Surely, no state's hardest to spell word could be relax, right? Ah, if you're in West Virginia it is. Sad.

For Nevada it's gorgeous. In Missouri, maintenance. Anniversary in New Mexico...canceled in New Hampshire.

I love this one...Wisconsin's trouble word is Chihuahua. They frequently spell it, Chiwawa.

For Maine? You ready? Here we go...

FRUSTRATED (frequently misspelled frusterated). I've heard Mainers say fusstrated, too.
