It has been nine days since the two inmates Richard Matt and David Sweat escaped from the Clinton (NY) Correctional facility.

Hundred of leads and officers and hours later, the convicted killers are still nowhere to be found.

According to police, prison worker Joyce Mitchell was supposed to drive the escapees seven hours away, but got “cold feet” and in the end didn’t do it. Mitchell, who was in charge of the inmate tailoring operation, has been charged with aiding the escapees.

Like most, I’d like to see Matt and Sweat back where they belong in prison without any perks.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo says he doesn’t know where they are; they could be anywhere. As much of a “duh” statement that is, it’s true, they could be anywhere.

Matt and Sweat could be just feet from the Clinton Correctional facility, they could be in Vermont, they could be in Mexico or anywhere else.

Where do you think they are?

There was a tip, now said to be incorrect, of an escapee sighting in South Paris, Maine. Do you think they have been or are in Maine?
