There are only two or three days in the whole year where all of the four major sports are playing. Today is the first and tomorrow is the second and hopefully last.

The NBA kicks off their regular season tonight with a couple of hyped up matches. First of which is getting under way in just a bit, it is the Chicago Bulls vs. the Miami Heat. Will Miami Heat 3-peat? Will Bulls win with the return of Derrick Rose?

The night cap at 10 pm is the “Battle of Los Angeles” or “Battle of the Staples Center” with the Doc Rivers' coached Clippers playing the aging Lakers.

Celtics play their first game of the season tomorrow. Will I be watching? No. We have Red Sox action. Quite honestly I’m not looking forward to this Celtics season. I think I’ll be into the Los Angeles rivalry this year more the C's. Celtics still have Rondo but the rest of the big guys are gone. If I were to make a prediction, I’d say the C’s win 25 games this year. Thank goodness for the Bruins.

As a final statement I’m still a Celtics fan before any other when it comes to the NBA and will watch the games when given the chance. It could be that I’m just spoiled. Bruins were the #2 last NHL season, the Patriots have a competitive team and could go all the way and then there are the Red Sox just a game away from a scene you’ve never scene before in Boston.
