Augusta Man Faces Up To 10 Years After Ninth OUI Conviction

Peter Dubord, a 54 year-old Augusta man, has been convicted of his ninth drunk driving charge going back to 1979.

Kennebec Valley District Attorney Maeghan Maloney said the ninth offense happened in September 2014 in China, Maine. Dubord was charged with a Class B felony because of his history with OUIs.

Dubord was taken directly into custody following the conviction and is being held without bail until his sentencing. The sentencing date has yet to be set.

He could see up to 10 years behind bars.
