Remember a few weeks ago on SNL the sketch comedy bit, 'Maine Justice?' This could be life imitating art a bit? In Lewiston there is a new restaurant called Mama's Cabaret opening that will serve alligator tail and crawdads. A little redneck south in Maine? Today is National 'Something on a Stick' Day. Corn dogs come to mind, popsicles of course, but how about, beef teriyaki? Thinking about all of this is making my hungry. What else comes on a stick? Cheese on a buffet tray that too comes on a stick (if you count toothpic
Well, just watched the Travel Channels “Truck Stop Paradise” and yes they did visit Dysart’s just of I-95 in Bangor, Maine. Overall, not bad, they did not go out of their way to make Mainers look like hicks. (So many travel shows do that for some reason) And the food looked great..BUT, I do have a bone to pick with the Travel Channel.
