Since I'm new to Central Maine and I'm a history geek, I loved this video of old pics of Waterville.

As folks around Central Maine make their way to work daily, they pass a historical site cherished by many in the neighborhood. The Colonial Theatre sits on Water Street in Augusta... and has sat there since 1913. Generations have come and gone while this structure has stayed for over 100 years ...

Flagstaff, Maine is known as Maine's ghost town. The small former town in Somerset County was located near Eustis and about twenty miles north of Rangeley.

When I think of a drive-in movie theater it brings back great family memories. You had to position the car perfectly on the little mound of sand, hook the speaker on the rolled down driver's side window and make the trek to snack shack.
