In Frank Ocean's recently posted open letter, he writes of penning a song for someone because they paid for his flight and hotel. So who could've been this mysterious "someone?" It looks as if it could have been Alicia Keys.

The 'Thinkin Bout You' crooner posted a photo on his Instagram of him in the studio with the R&B diva. According to Keys' twitter feed, Ocean came through to work on a tune for her upcoming album. "Look who stopped in on me in the stu on my last day of recording!!!" she tweeted on Wednesday (Oct. 17). "Would u want to hear what a song from us sounds like??"

We sure would. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until Keys drops her fifth album 'Girl on Fire' on Nov. 27 to hear their collaborative effort.

It's no secret that Keys has admiration for Ocean and was her musical inspiration after listening to his debut album 'Channel Orange.' "I really appreciate Frank Ocean’s lyrical style, I appreciate the way that he can kind of draw you into this personal space, but it’s still lyrical," she told the New York Times. "It’s almost poetic, in a way, but it's very personal at the same time."

We are quite sure whatever Ocean and Keys cook up in the studio, it will definitely be a scorcher like her latest single, 'Girl on Fire.'
