If You Plan on Holding Up a Pharmacy in Maine, Chances are You Will Be Caught

The problem of pharmacy robberies in Maine has been growing. In 2008 Maine had two for the whole year! So far for 2012 Maine has seen 45! But that can go up at any minute.  Pharmacies and law enforcement have been working hard to address the problem. There was even a pharmacist recently who said enough is enough and said "no" when they were hit. However, there is some good news in all of this.  If you rob a pharmacy in Maine, odds are you will be caught!

I was reading in the Bangor Daily News that the Maine State Police say that four out of every five of the robbers will be caught.  That is a like a 82%!  Way to go law enforcement. Most of the robbers are looking for the pain killer oxycodone.  They use it themselves or its gets sold to other drug users.
