Tonight as the Oscars play out on ABC there are great moments in style, music and there are nominees who become winners.  Most of us won't get the chance to thank those who've helped us along the way in a national broadcast but I'm sure we all have people who we'd like to thank if given the chance. Who would you thank?

If I were to give an acceptance speech it would go something this.

There are so many people to thank. I would first like to thank Don Mabee at the Atlantic Broadcast Centre in Saint John because without him or that school I wouldn't probably be doing what I'm doing today for a living.

I would like to thank my past Program Directors, Lisa Akizuki from Sun Fm, Sky Taylor from the old Fox 104.7 in Brewer, Eric Marenghi at the old WMWX in Auburn, Randi Kirshbaum, and Jay Thomas who hired me on at the Moose part time back in January of 2000.

I'd also like to thank a co-worker from about 20 years ago Jamie Paterson who told me to go after "it." Meaning go after my dreams because if you don't than you'll never know what you missed. If you want to move, do it now before you're older and have ties. That I did.

I of course, want to thank Mac Dickson and Al Perry and my current company Townsquare Media for all they offer me now. It has been a joy and a privilege to be part of such a great team for so far 14 years.

Most of all, I want to thank Lynn and our kids for supporting me and this profession known as radio.
