Gov. Paul LePage says he's not living large despite a $32,000 kitchen tab last year. The total food bill is as an example of spending information found on an open records website Maine Open Checkbook.

The Blaine House director said the kitchen budget covered a lot of events and entertaining included dinners for military families and potential state investors, among others. She says LePage views the governor's mansion, where LaPage does live, as the 'people's house,' with more than 6,000 people coming through last year.
