‘Penelope the 92Moose Pumpkin’ is Getting BIG

Here is our latest Penelope update. It all started like this…..
Buzz Pinkham  from Damariscotta Pumpkinfest, brought us a little baby pumpkin. Jon agreed to grow one. That means Jon has to fine someone to grow the pumpkin. Enter the very kind Jackie from Fastenal in the K-Mart Shopping Center in Augusta. She says her dad has a horses and that mean a manure pile and happy growing for a little pumpkin.

A few weeks ago Penelope was getting big, but here is the latest picture from Jackie. She said her shoe is a size 8, just to you an idea of how big that little plant is getting.  Oh my, I can only imagine how big she will be by the end of the season.
