Renee Relishs This Tasty Treat

I was at the Manchester Lions Home and Garden Show last weekend. And found this! Onion Cucumber Relish from ‘Forgotten Recipes’ in Wiscasset. OK, the relish is delish but the story that went along with it, better.

The man I was walking with said this was his grandmother's recipe. Her name was Ella Buckingham. She was originally from Atlantic Canada, but lived in Millinocket.  He spoke so sweetly of her you could tell he loved his Gram. And a recipe like Onion Cucumber Relish has to be some family recipe. The story and relish are fantastic.
