It wasn't quite how they planned it, but the result is something pretty spectacular.

That would be Quarryside at Rock Row in Westbrook, a multi-faceted gathering space set to be one of the summer highlights of Rock Row's growing expansion. Construction delays and approvals slowed the project. But as some have already discovered, it was worth the wait.

Quarryside is located directly next to the 400-foot deep quarry that is a centerpiece to the Rock Row development. Quarryside is set to host a series of acoustic concerts and events through the end of September, with a more robust schedule in the works for next year.

When it was initially announced, Rock Row planned to team with Lone Pine Brewing for the beer garden at Quarryside. That partnership has expanded, with Lone Pine now offering their full beer program at Quarryside. They'll also be serving up various pizza offerings for hungry patrons.

Quarryside will offer visitors a chance to enjoy some lawn games while sipping on their favorite beer. The acoustic concert series will take place from Wednesday to Sunday each week through the end of September. Quarryside will also be family-friendly, with a kids zone available to keep little ones entertained.

While Quarryside may be limited to summer, Rock Row plans to hold events there throughout the year, including fairs, seasonal festivals, concerts, and more. Rock Row plans to update the event schedule for the remainder of August and September through their Facebook page.
