February 13, 2013 I know there will someone reading going “duh, Renee, everyone knew that!” No. Not everyone. I have two vehicles and one has a gas cap on the right and the other is on the left. It is a source of ongoing confusion in my world. Little did I know the answer has been, literally, right in front of my face!
Gas prices in Maine jumped nearly three cents a gallon this week. MaineGasPrices.com reported that the average retail cost of a gallon of gas in Maine rose to $3.56. That's based on a survey of over 1,200 gas stations throughout the state.
December 18, 2012 If you have travel plans this is great news. Gas prices are still going down. By cents and not dollars, but they are still getting a little lower. However, Maine gas prices are still above the national average.
The chances of gas prices falling below the $3 mark anytime in the near future might seem unlikely, but analysts say that it could come close. Fuel costs, already dropping, are expected to continue to do so for the rest of the year.
