Have you ever seen the Google car? I was lucky enough to pass it this morning at 9-9:30. Do you get creeped out by the accuracy of Google Maps; especially the satellite view? So far in Auburn I’ve seen the Google vehicle twice and I’m not completely freaked out by the satellite view but the resolution and new updates are kind of eerie.

There's nothing like popping the question and letting the whole world see it go down from your point of view. That's exactly what happened for one man who decided to propose to his girlfriend while he wearing Google Glasses.

As part of their April Fool's Day tradition, Google is running a pretty great prank on YouTube, right now. They are listing the nominees for the best of YouTube before it "shuts down." Every video is nominated. They are listing every video on YouTube and reading their descriptions...

Wow, I guess there's a moral to this story. If you don't want everybody in the world to see it, don't do it in front of a Google Maps camera. This poor moron learned the hard way. Alexander's wife was innocently looking for an address using the street view feature and there was her man cozied up to another woman and looking right at the camere. FAIL!

In their high-paced efforts to document the mean streets of the world, it appears as if Google may have become cold-blooded donkey killers. In a series of shocking photographs widely circulating on Twitter, you can see the Google Street View car driving past a donkey in one shot and the brutal and dusty demise of the beast in the next.

For just a moment, liken a store shopping experience to one you'd have online.  That is, instead of asking a human where something is, you'd ask a search engine, like Google.  Admittedly, I really enjoyed the first "search engine" because she's really cute :-)

It's nice to know that Google isn't just harvesting information about us and selling it to advertisers. Look! They also used our searches to make this video! The video, 'Zeitgeist 2012: Year In Review,' shows the top (non-porn) search terms for the last year and includes video as much as possible...
