Kevin Hart hosted 'Saturday Night Live' this weekend. Here he is in a pretty good send-up of 'The Walking Dead.' It seems as though not seeming racist is more important for the survivors then succumbing to a zombie apocal
Not that 'SNL' deserves all the credit per say, but it's certainly true what longtime series star Jason Sudeikis says in the latest promo for Saturday's Kevin Hart-hosted installment, that recent 'SNL' hosts Anne Hathaway, Christoph Waltz and Jennifer Lawrence all went on to win Oscars this past Sunday. Some would say that Hart was robbed of a nomination for his performance in 'Scary Movie 4,' but we're just happy to have an actual comedian back on the 'SNL' stage. Preview the latest episode with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis inside!
Continuing the Timberlake saturation, it's been announced that he will host and perform on 'Saturday Night Live' on March 9, and will perform for a full week (March 11-15) on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.'
Admittedly we'd been hazing 'SNL' of late for its emphasis on musical stars to host, namely Bruno Mars, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, and most recently the two-sided flop of Justin Bieber. Now, the original two-sided Justin has returned, as the long-running NBC sketch comedy series has tapped favored guest Justin Timberlake to both host and perform on March 9! Get the latest on Justin Timberlake's big 'SNL' return inside!
Perhaps unintentionally, it looked as if there was a theme during last night's 'Saturday Night Live' (featuring Christoph Waltz as host). Important etiquette lessons crept into at least two sketches, both of which featured a woman whose behavior ruins a party.
Last night's 'Weekend Update' featured an eye witness to the recent meteor crash in Russia. In the beginning, Povlatsky (played by 'SNL' cast member Kate McKinnon) showed up to talk merely of the crash, but she ended up sharing even more about the poor quality of life amongst females in her native Mother Russia.
One of the most talked about topics this past week was the stranded Carnival cruise ship that found itself simply floating along in the ocean without power, sanity, and toilets. Naturally, the story eventually found itself on the floor of studio 8H in Rockefeller Plaza -- home of 'Saturday Night Live.'
Saturday Night Live doesn't often tackle religion, but when it rains, it pours! You may have already seen the instantly viral 'Djesus Uncrossed,' but have you seen the fake advertisement for a service that assists Popes with their retirement plans? It manages to combine relevant comedy with a spot-on commercial parody, effectively killing two SNL birds with one stone. Check it out below.
