These days, with all that's going on, it is all about the little things in life.  Sunshine, family walks through the woods, spending time at home, and introducing your kids to new experiences... Like eating candy!

With the exception of a mini pig-out session on Halloween night or Easter Sunday, most of the kid's candy ends up in a stockpile that we slowly work through.  Much of it is the same (mini candy bars, tootsie rolls, starburst), but every once in a while, they'll stumble on something they have never had before.

This happened last night, when 9 year old Denise walked up to us with a small bag of candy.  They were Pop Rocks!  In my opinion, the two "candy rites of passage" are those super sour Warheads and Pop Rocks.
