16 year old Christopher Camacho was the suspect who was shot and killed on Friday by York County Deputy Sheriff Robert Carr.

Carr was responding to a robbery in progress at the Dollar General in Limerick, Maine. Upon arrival, authorities say the officer and the teen were engaged in an armed confrontation. Camacho had been threatening a store employee at gunpoint.

The Attorney General's office has joined the investigation and Officer Carr has been placed on administrative leave, all of which is standard operation procedure.
