2 Sabattus School Buses, Same Students, Involved in Accidents Monday
In what has become a bit of a crazy story, a Sabattus school bus was rear-ended by a woman under the influence of drugs as the bus was stopped, with lights flashing, letting children off. According to News Center Maine, Jami Lee Driscoll, 29, of Lewiston was arrested and failed a drug test.
After the incident, children were then put onto a new bus to complete the route home, during the SECOND bus trip THAT bus was then hit. Reports say the second bus was side-swiped by a truck and the truck fled the scene.
Fortunately, no kids were injured.
