A New Restaurant Pub is Coming to Winslow
Scott McIntire, who owns The Old Goat in Richmond, is planning to open the Two Cent Pub at the former It's A Good Pizza location on Clinton Ave in Winslow.
He has already secured most of his permits and his liquor license is pending. Scott says that he got the name for the soon-to-be new bar from the Two Cent Bridge, which connects foot traffic between Winslow and Waterville.
As for the fare at the new joint, McIntire says you can expect to see a bit of what people have come to love about The Old Goat in Richmond, though he doesn't want the two places to be completely alike. Customers can likely expect to see pizza, panninis, sausages, salads and more. Also, don't expect to have anything too greasy as there will not be a fryolator inside the Two Cent Pub. Everything on the menu will either be oven baked or pannini pressed according to the article in the KJ.
He goes on to explain that the pub will seat 42 diners at seven tables plus a bar. The summertime will feature an outdoor patio for additional seating in the warmer months.
Look for the new eatery to be open for business sometime in April of 2020.
