Calling all Wizards, Witches, and Muggles!

Grab your cloaks, owl, spellbooks, and wands because its time to celebrate International Harry Potter day!

Sadly, the annual Harry Potter Scavenger hunt that brought witches and wizards alike from all over Maine and New England, and was hosted by Scrummy Afters candy shop will not be happening this year. Sadly, in March, Scrummys closed their storefront iand went to online-only sales.  This change was due, in-part, to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, there is a new local Harry Potter event coming to Gardiner.

According to the A1 Diner Facebook page, they are hosting Wizards Brunch & Dinner both Saturday, October 3rd, and Sunday, October 4th. Guests are highly encouraged to dress up in your best wizards attire; there will be Hogwarts themed drinks, desserts, and other dishes, as well as Hogwarts, themed trivia. Saturdays hours are from 7:00 am to 8:30 pm and Sundays hours are from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.

Harry Potter themed anything is fantastic, but when you get to dress up like a witch or wizard and eat Hogwarts inspired foods, it is a no brainer.

I don't know about you, but to me, it sounds like a MAGICAL time!
